Dated Police Station Sections 04.03.2021 Vigilance Bureau, Patiala, District Patiala 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 as amended by Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2018 1.

Seeking directions to the official respondents to conclude the investigation in the above captioned FIR, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 CrPC.

The limited question for which the petitioner has come up before this Court is that due to pendency of the above mentioned FIR, he is facing mental agony and emotional distress for last 2 1⁄2 years, therefore he prays that directions be issued to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

Given the nature of the order, this Court proposes to pass, no reply is required from the State.

4.

Prayer being genuine, is accepted. Investigator is directed to make all efforts to complete the investigation by 31.12.2023 and the Supervisory officers shall follow up with the investigator.

Petition is disposed of in the terms mentioned above. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
