(Oral) Learned counsel for the respondent has contended that as per Section 50(3) and (7) of the Punjab Rent Act, 1995, an appeal would be maintainable against an order passed by the Rent Authority under Section 24 of the said Act.

Faced with the same learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file an appeal. Permitted to do so. Dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. The operation of the impugned order dated 14.09.2022 shall remain in abeyance for a period of one week from today to enable the petitioner to avail his remedies as available in law.
