Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the present revision petition may be allowed by setting aside the impugned order dated 11.10.2021 passed by the Rent Controller, Ludhiana dismissing the application for amendment filed by the petitioner-tenant herein. Learned counsel for the respondent-landlord, however, states that since the matter has been pending since 2016, the matter may be directed to be decided in a time-bound manner.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the impugned order dated 11.10.2021 is set aside and the amendment sought for is allowed. It is, however, clarified that the petitioner-tenant shall be afforded only one opportunity to lead his entire evidence at his own responsibility and no further opportunity shall be PARKASH CHAND 2022.04.19 11:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CR No.3186 of 2021 -2granted under any circumstances. In case the respondent-landlord wishes to rebut the evidence so led, he shall be afforded one opportunity at his own responsibility.

Since the matter is listed today before the Rent Controller, learned counsel for the petitioner-tenant prays for a week's time to produce the evidence. The Rent Controller is requested to adjourn the matter for a week and on the adjourned date the petitioner-tenant shall lead his entire evidence at his own responsibility.
