*** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to terminate his services from the post of full time Sweeper on DC rates till the regular appointment is made.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on a judgment rendered by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in case titled as "Hargurpratap Singh Versus State of Punjab and others" contained at Annexure P-8. He submits that petitioner worked as a full time sweeper on DC Rates from 02.05.2018 to 31.10.2021 without any break, but from 01.11.2021 respondents did not allow him to perform his duties without assigning any reason and without issuing any termination letter. He submits that qua his aforesaid grievance, he submitted a representation dated 02.11.2021 (Annexure P-7) but to no avail. Hence, the instant petition. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the case file.

No grounds are made out to interfere. Dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to follow up his cause with the respondents, who are expected to proceed, in accordance with law.
