Petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been filed for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in FIR No.30 dated 01.08.2023, under Section 302 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Kot Fatta, District Bathinda. 2.

Learned Senior counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that after investigation of the matter, cancellation report has been submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate.

On the other hand, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pritam Singh, also acknowledged the above factual position, but he further apprised that after receipt of cancellation report, learned Illaqa Magistrate has issued a notice to the complainant for 28.03.2024.
