Learned State counsel (on instructions from Inspector Mukhtiar Singh) submits that an FIR No. 222 dated 01.09.2024 has been registered at Police Station Jandiala, Amritsar Rural.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take alternative pleas as available in law.
