A statement made on behalf of the appellants on 27.05.2026 that in full and final satisfaction of their claim, an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lac Fifty Thousand only) over and above the amount awarded by the tribunal be awarded and be disbursed to appellants in the proportion as decided by the learned MACT, having been accepted on behalf of the insurer of the offending vehicle, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the insurer to deposit with the office of the Lok Adalat cheques in favour of the appellants totaling Rs.

2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lac Fifty Thousand only) in the proportion as decided by the learned MACT within six weeks from today, failing which the amount hereby awarded shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of this order till payment thereof. The cheques so deposited may be collected by the above-named appellants or the counsel representing the appellants against proper receipt. Miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of. A copy of this order be made available to each of the appearing counsel, and file be consigned.
