The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondent No.3 to decide the appeal bearing EA No.65 of 2023 dated 24.04.2023 (Annexure P-7), pending for 15.10.2024, filed by respondent No.5 against the impugned order dated 20.04.2023 (Annexure P-6).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to the concerned Authority for deciding the appeal dated 24.04.2023 (Annexure P-7) filed by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Personal Assistant to Divisional Commissioner, Ambala submits that the aforesaid appeal (Annexure P-7) filed by the petitioner, in all probability, shall be adjudicated on the date fixed i.e. 15.10.2024, and in any case, not beyond two months thereafter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, submits that he does not intend to press the instant writ petition any further, at this stage. 6.
Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 7.
