In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.2 and 3 to issue joining letter for the post of Clerk in Education Department (Senior Education) to the petitioner as he has already cleared all tests but appointment letter has not been issued till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that just on the basis of registration of FIR, the petitioner has been denied the appointment. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as representation and decide the same, in a time bound manner.
