Mr. Sandeep Goyat, Advocate for the petitioner. **** AMIT RAWAL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is stated to have been replied to show cause notice dated 12.09.2019 (Annexure P-6), whereby the Superintendent of Police has found the error in the merit/waiting list as in place of petitioner, one Neelam D/o Balbir Singh has been considered for issuance of appointment letter. Apprehension of petitioner is that there is likelihood of terminating her services.

I am of the view that since no decision has been taken, therefore, no cause of action arises in present writ petition. However, to eradicate the apprehension of petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the Superintendent of Police to afford opportunity of hearing to petitioner before passing any order. In case, adverse order is passed, petitioner shall be granted two weeks' time to avail alternative remedy, in other words, services of petitioner shall not be dispensed with within the aforesaid period.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
