On 17.01.2020, the following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, states that the statement made by him on 23.09.2019 was made on instructions, however, on going through the record it transpires that earlier eviction petition was filed only qua arrears of rent. He has also placed on record the orders of the authorities below in the said eviction petition by way of C.M No.22529-CII of 2019. He further contends that the wrong statement was made on instructions and he wishes to withdraw the same.

Ordered accordingly.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel requests for some time to vacate the shop as he is running his business from the said premises.

CR-5986-2019(O&M) -2Mr. Narinder Singh Dadwal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents contends that it has already been approximately a year and half since passing of the order dated 17.01.2020 and that the petition be dismissed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that the petitioner be granted some reasonable time to vacate the premises as he has been hit hard due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, states that the petitioner is in arrears of rent and the respondents would be agreeable to grant the petitioner time upto 30.09.2021 to hand over the vacant possession of the premises provided all arrears of rent are cleared by 15.08.2021. In view of the stand taken by learned counsel for the parties, the present revision petition is disposed off with a direction to the petitioner to hand over the vacant possession of the premises to the respondents on or before 30.09.2021 after clearing all the arrears of rent by 15.08.2021. It is made clear that in case the arrears of rent are not cleared by the petitioner by 15.08.2021, the present revision petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed.

Disposed off accordingly.
