(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of the FIR No.08 dated 08.12.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered with Police Station NRI District Amritsar Commissionerate under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 201 and 120-B of IPC, 1860 as well as subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 01.03.2023 (Annexure P-2).

On 01.04.2025, the following order was passed:- "Application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for granting another opportunity to parties to record their statements in pursuance of order dated 04.09.2024. Notice of the application to non-applicantrespondents. Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, learned AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of non-applicant-respondent No.1 and has raised no objection to the prayer made by applicant.

CRM-M-43192-2024 respondent No.2 and accepts notice. He also raises no objection to the prayer made by applicant. In view of the above and for the reasons mentioned in the application, same is allowed as prayed for subject to all just exceptions. One more opportunity is granted to record statements of the parties in terms of order dated 04.09.2024 subject to costs of Rs. 15,000/- to be deposited with Punjab and Haryana High Court Employees Welfare Association, Account No. 37167209613, IFSC Code: SBIN0050306, State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Chandigarh.

Let needful be done on or before 09.04.2025 in terms of order dated 04.09.2024 and report be submitted to this Court by 29.04.2025, the date already fixed in the main case.

Be shown in the Urgent list."

Thereafter, on 29.04.2025, the following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the petitioners as well as respondent No.2 seek one more opportunity for recording of the statements in terms of the order dated 04.09.2024. One last opportunity is granted to the parties to appear before learned trial Court on or before 20.05.2025, for recording their statements as per aforesaid order dated 04.09.2024.

Awaiting report, posted for 22.07.2025."

As per the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar dated 16.04.2025, only petitioner Parneet Kaur Ghuman came present and recorded her statement in support of the compromise but the other petitioners and complainant have not come present to record their statements.
