  )The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to issue her passport.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner is an adopted child. The petitioner was adopted by Nirmaljit Kaur i.e. single parent. The respondents have not issued passport though as per judgment of this Court in Mukhtiar Singh vs. Union of India and others CWP No. 13290 of 2015 decided on 12.10.2015 and Kulveer Kaur (Minor) vs. Union of India and others CWP No. 15350 of 2021 decided on 06.12.2021 as well as the instructions issued by Central Government, passport can be issued.
