NIDHI GUPTA J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0138 dated 12.8.2022, under Sections 304-B, 498-A, 406, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar Rural.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner has been declared proclaimed person vide order dated 20.4.2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not deny the abovesaid fact and submits that the petitioner may be permitted to surrender before the trial Court.

In view of the aforesaid position, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the learned trial Court concerned within one week from today.
