(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.18 dated 06.10.2021 under Sections 406, 498-A IPC registered at Police Station City Women Cell, Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR in question emanates from a marital discord between the petitioner and his wife i.e. the complainant. He further submits that in compliance of order dated 15.12.2021 the petitioner had joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. Therefore, the present petition be allowed. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Singh, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency.
