Prayer in this petition filed by petitioner-wife is for transfer of the petition bearing No.HMA/770/2021 filed by respondent-husband under Section 13(i)(i-a)(i-b) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, titled "Major Madan Singh Chauhan vs. Simran Chauhan @ Simran Mehrok" (Annexure P1) pending in the Court of Addl. Principal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar to a court of competent jurisdiction at SAS Nagar (Mohali).

Mr. Sukhwinder Singh, Advocate, puts in appearance on behalf of respondent and files his vakalatnama, which is taken on record. Learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, submits that respondent-husband has no objection if the present petition is allowed and the aforesaid case is transferred to SAS Nagar (Mohali). 3.
In view of the above statement, this Court deems it appropriate to allow the present petition, subject to the following conditions:- a) The petition bearing No.HMA/770/2021 filed by respondent-husband under Section 13(i)(i-a)(i-b) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, titled "Major Madan Singh Chauhan vs. Simran Chauhan @ Simran Mehrok"

TA No.1231 of 2021 (O&M) Court, Amritsar is transferred to a court of competent jurisdiction at SAS Nagar (Mohali).
b) The ld. District Judge, Amritsar is directed to transfer complete record pertaining to the aforesaid case to District Judge, SAS Nagar (Mohali).
c) The parties, through their counsel, are directed to appear before the District & Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar (Mohali) on 12.07.2023.
d) The District Judge, SAS Nagar (Mohali) will assign the said petition to the Court of competent jurisdiction. 4.
The concerned Court at SAS Nagar (Mohali) will make all endeavour to refer the case before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre for exploring the possibility of some amicable settlement between the parties.

The Court concerned, where the litigation is pending between the parties, will accommodate them with one date in one calendar month. Disposed of.
