As per the same, the matter remained non-starter. However today, counsel for respondent No.2-Insurance company has given an offer to make the payment of Rs.1,00,000/- over and above the amount already awarded.

The said offer is acceptable to the counsel for the appellant. The date of accident is 14.08.2015. The appellant who was 35 years of age, had sustained injuries and fractured both bones of his right leg and suffered disability to the extent of 10%, which was permanent in nature. Considering the aforesaid and also taking into consideration about the compensation awarded under various counts, as detailed in SONU 2026.04.02 09:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

FAO-5363-2018 paragraph No.30 of the Award and the amount so offered today, the present appeal is hereby allowed and the Insurance Company is directed to make the payment of Rs.1,00,000/-, over and above the amount already awarded, within a period of six weeks from today onwards. In the eventuality of default on the part of the Insurance compay, in not making the payment, within the given time, it shall be liable to pay penal interest @ 8% per annum, from the date of appeal, till realization.
