This is an application that has been filed by the insurance company wherein it is stated that the insurance company is ready and willing to pay an amount of `4,50,000/- over and above the amount as awarded by the MACT, Panchkula and it is prayed that the matter be disposed of.

Mr. Man Mohan, Advocate, who is present in Court, accepts notice for the non-applicant/appellants and submits that the appellants would have no objection in case the appeal is disposed of by enhancing the compensation by an amount of `4,50,000/- over and above the compensation awarded by the Tribunal.

The application is allowed and the appeal is taken up for hearing today.

In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the appeal stands disposed of. The appellants shall be entitled to an amount of `4,50,000/- over and above the compensation awarded by the Tribunal including the interest component.

The award of the Tribunal is modified and the amount is enhanced to the above extent. Let the enhanced amount be brought by way of demand draft in favour of the appellants-claimants and deposited in the Lok Adalat within a period of two months for release to the appellants forthwith.
