"Present appeal has been p anticipatory bail in FIR No.20 dated punishable under Section 3(1) of th preferred by the appellant seeking d 06.02.2024, registered for offences he Scheduled Castes and Scheduled g s d p


Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act), 1989 (for short 'SC/ST Act'), at Police Station Pasyana, District Patiala.

Compliance report by way of an affidavit dated 31.07.2025 filed by the learned State counsel, in Court today, and the same is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to the counsel for the appellant as also learned counsel for the complainant.

Inter alia contends that the appellant has been falsely implicated into the FIR in question on account of a village faction related dispute; no specific overt act has been attributed to the appellant, which may invoke provisions of SC/ST Act; & he is willing to join investigation and cooperate therein.

Adjourned to 28.08.2025.

The appellant is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 08.08.2025 at 11:00 A.M. in concerned Police Station and join investigation. In the event of arrest, the appellant shall be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bond(s) to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. As and when further called by Investigating Officer, the appellant shall join the investigation.
