Today at the very outset, learned counsel has made an oral request for carrying out a correction as regards the date of FIR which is stated to be mentioned incorrectly as 16.1.2015 instead of 27.4.2019. 2.

In view of the aforesaid request, the date of FIR as existing in the head-note, prayer clause and the petition itself is ordered to be corrected as 27.4.2019 instead of 16.1.2015. Bench Secretary of this Court is directed to do necessary correction in the petition with red ink under his signatures. 3.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.211 dated 27.04.2019 under Sections 323, 34, 498-A, 506 IPC, Police Station Pehowa, District Kurukshetra mainly on the ground that the petitioner No.1 is married brother of husband of victim-Baljinder Kaur and that petitioner No.2 is married sister of husband of victim-Baljinder Kaur and they had been residing separately from the matrimonial home of Baljinder Kaur. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra to ensure that the FIR in question is got investigated in accordance with law and that the aforesaid contentions are duly considered before finalising report under Section 173 Cr.P.C..
