Present petition has been filed by the petitioner - Karamjit Singh, aged about 34 years, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, for appointing a Warrant Officer and further directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 with a roving writ to search for the detenue - Randeep Kaur, and to get her released from the alleged illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 7. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of present petition with liberty to take recourse to the alternative remedies, as are, available to the petitioner. 3.
