The present petition has been filed seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 607 dated 17.12.2021 under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Zirakpur (Annexure P-1).

Vide order dated 06.08.2025, the parties were relegated to appear before the Investigating Officer to explore a possibility of an amicable settlement and for the said purpose, the arrest of the petitioner had been stayed.

In light of the above, there is no requirement to arrest the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to join investigation on 20.09.2025 at 10:00 A.M. before the Investigating Officer and cooperate with the Investigating Agency, even thereafter. 5.

In light of the compromise affected between the parties, the present petition is disposed of. Needless to say that the parties shall remain bound by their obligations stated in the compromise.
