(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.139, dated 10.07.2022, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar, under Sections 379-B and 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 17.08.2022 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to orders dated 25.01.2023 & 22.03.2023, report dated 06.05.2023 has been received from Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ajnala, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without coercion or undue influence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.139, dated 10.07.2022, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar, under Sections 379-B and 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
