The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of directions for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioners from the threats, harassment and extortion being committed by respondent No.4. Multiple other prayers have also been made.

The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the son of the petitioners is an accused in multiple FIRs. In the garb of obtaining information about their son, the investigating agency is repeatedly raiding the premises of the petitioners and threatening them with dire consequences. Therefore, appropriate directions be issued restraining them from doing so.

The learned State counsel has filed a reply dated 28.10.2025 by way of an affidavit, which is taken on record. CRWP-8044-2025 -2to pressurize the police party, who are only conducted raids to trace Bikramjit Singh, son of the petitioners, who is absconding to avoid his arrest.

In view of the contentions of the both side, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the investigating agency to follow the due process of law in case the presence of the petitioners is required for inquiry/investigation.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
