On 9.9.2024, this Court passed the following order:- "1. Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., prayer is made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No.65 dated 18.03.2020, under Sections 302, 323, 341, 506, 148, 149 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Gate Hakima, District Amritsar.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner, by placing reliance upon the order dated 07.03.2024 (Annexure P-5), whereby, petitioner's co-accused Baldev Singh @ Baldev Raj, has been granted the concession of pre-arrest bail by this Court, submits that since the petitioner is on a coequal pedestal as his co-accused (supra), therefore, he also deserves an alike relief.

3. Notice of motion for 13.11.2024.

4. Mr. Pardeep Bajaj, D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1-State of Punjab.

5. In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and to appear before the investigating agency, as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
