(ORAL) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of a roving writ in the nature of habeas corpus to appoint a Warrant Officer to release the detenue, Mohd Wakeel from the custody of respondents No.4 i.e. Incharge Officer CIA-I Panipat.

Reply by way of affidavit of Virender Singh, DSP City, Panipat is on record.

As per reply, when the Warrant Officer appointed by this Court visited the premises of CIA Office, Panipat, the detenue was not found, however, an FIR No.926 dated 06.12.2021 in Police Station Quilla, Panipat under Sections 384 and 389 of Indian Penal Code has been registered. It is further stated that the detenue was later on arrested on GEETA RANI 2021.12.20 17:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-11619-2021 (O&M) -213.12.2021 from U.P. and is found involved in two other cases as detailed in the reply.

It is also stated that the present petition has been filed as a part of conspiracy as two other persons namely Apsana @ Chutki and Hasam were also involved for demanding Rs.6 lakh.

In view of the same, no further action is called for. The present petition stands disposed of.
