Petitioners have filed these petitions under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0082 dated 23.08.2019 under Section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act, registered at Police Station VINEET GULATI 2019.11.28 16:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh Kathgarh, District SBS Nagar.
CRM No.M-41019 of 2019 and connected case -2Notice of motion was issued in both cases. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petitions. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. Vide order dated 24.09.2019, interim bail was granted to petitioner-Kuldeep Singh and vide order dated 07.11.2019, interim bail was granted to petitioner-Balram and they were directed to join the investigation.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ram Singh, states that the petitioners have joined the investigation. In view of the above, the present petition is allowed. The order dated 24.09.2019 passed in CRM-M-41019-2019 and order dated 07.11.2019 passed in CRM-M-47552-2019, granting interim bail to the petitioners, are made absolute. However, the petitioners shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by conditions of Sections 438(2) Cr.P.C.
