The petitioner apprehending arrest in the FIR captioned above, had come up before this Court under Section 438 CrPC seeking anticipatory bail. 2.

Vide order dated 14.09.2023, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner, which is continuing till date.

Petitioner's counsel submits that they have voluntarily complied with the previous orders dated 14.09.2023 as well as 12.10.2023. He further submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation twice and he undertakes to join as and when called by the investigator.

On instructions from DSP Pawan Kumar, counsel for the State has not refuted the contention made by counsel for the petitioner, however opposes the bail. 5.

Perusal of the file shows that allegations pertain to the year 2018 when the petitioner was a Clerk, who has since retired.
