(Oral) This petition has been filed for directing the respondents to release the petitioner for four weeks' parole on the ground that he is suffering from abdominal pain having stones in his gall bladder and doctors had advised him for operation.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has approached the competent authority but it had refused to accept his application.

On the other hand, learned State counsel has opposed the said argument and states that as per his instructions, there is no such application moved for grant of parole on behalf of the petitioner till date. Be that as it may, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to move an application before the competent authority and in case any such application is moved, the same shall be decided by passing a speaking order thereon within a period of one week thereafter. Petition stands disposed of.
