$+ Judicial Magistrate First Class, Chandigarh in case No. NACT/4939/2019 as per which the matter has already been settled amongst the parties and the disputed amount already stands paid by the accused to the complainant. Consequently, the petitioner has been acquitted of the charge of offences punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

Legal Aid Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid assertion made by the Counsel for the respondentcomplainant. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

A copy of this order be sent to the High Court Legal Service Committee for information and necessary action.
