The petitioner has moved this application under Articles 226/227 for issuance of direction especially in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and members of her family. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that representation/complaint dated 2.12.2019 (Annexure P-1) in this regard has also been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken as of now.

( 2 ) CRWP-11722-2021 Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 4 at this stage. Mr. B.S. Sewak, Addl. A.G. Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 4.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation/complaint dated 2.12.2019 (Annexure P-1). State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 2.12.2019 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law within a period of next one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
