The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of orders passed by authorities whereby it has been directed to pay gratuity along with interest @ 10%.

Counsel for the parties are ad-idem that principal amount along with interest @ 9% per annum stands paid whereas authorities have directed to pay interest @ 10% per annum.

As per notification issued under Payment of Gratuity Act, the statutory rate of interest is 10% per annum, thus, petitioner is liable to Anju Goel 2024.12.04 10:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
