(ORAL) In compliance of order dated 16.01.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioners with the concerned quarters.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.20 dated 09.01.2019 registered under Sections 323 and 506 IPC at Police Station Palam Vihar, Gurugram, District Gurugram, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 30.09.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Gurugram, on 09.10.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Gurugram, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.578 RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.29 15:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-42066 of 2019 dated 16.10.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Gurugram, vide letter No.2518/C.29/EB dated 23.10.2019. According to the above report, compromise arrived at between the parties is voluntary and without any pressure or coercion. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.

Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.20 dated 09.01.2019 registered under Sections 323 and 506 IPC at Police Station Palam Vihar, Gurugram, District Gurugram, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
