The present revision petition has been filed challenging judgment dated 02.01.2018 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gohana whereby the petitioner was convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 02 years for the offence punishable under Section 325 read with Section 149 IPC and judgment dated 14.07.2023 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sonipat, whereby the petitioner along with other accused persons has been granted the benefit of probation for a period of 02 years on furnishing probation bonds in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety and on payment of compensation to the complainant and injured to the tune of Rs.1,25,000/- each of the accused. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition. However she on instructions prays that 04 weeks more time be granted to the petitioner to pay the compensation as directed by learned Lower Appellate Court, he being a poor person and as such requires some time to arrange the money.

Dismissed as withdrawn.

However, keeping in view the peculiar circumstances as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the payer is accepted and the petitioner is directed to pay the compensation on or before 15.10.2023. (AMAN CHAUDHARY) 22.09.2023 JUDGE Ankur Whether speaking/reasoned :
