RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of a writ, order or direction especially a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to take action upon the representation/complaint, Annexure P-1, filed by the petitioner against respondents No.5 and 6 as even after passing of more than two months, no action yet has been taken by respondent No.2.

It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that representation, Annexure P-1, was filed by the petitioner before respondent No.2 on 05.07.2023 but no decision has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State.

After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts MEENU 2023.09.21 09:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-20789-2023 -2and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Director Rural Development and Panchayat Department, Punjab, to decide the representation (if any filed by the petitioner afresh before him within ten days from today) expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of its receipt.
