***** KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation with the police in the light of interim direction given by this Court dated 22.12.2021.

The State counsel on the instructions from ASI Iqbal Singh admitted this fact and further stated that the petitioner is not required by the police for the purpose of custodial interrogation. Further as per the allegations made in the FIR at the time of the occurrence the petitioner was armed wooden stick and he gave its blow to complainant Savinder Singh.
