(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to decide the appeal dated 28.09.2020 under Rule 11 of Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and appeals) rules, 2016 filed against the impugned order dated 27.07.2020 (Annexure P-3). During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner realizes that instead of filing an appeal before respondent No.2, it ought to have been preferred before respondent No.1.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 to forward the appeal filed by the petitioner before the competent authority i.e. respondent No.1, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and the same MAMTA MALHOTRA 2021.12.22 16:07 I attest to the accuracy of this order Chandigarh
