Counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition has been filed by run-away couple who performed marriage against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 9, who are extending threats to cause harm to the petitioners and in this regard, representation dated 31.08.2024 (Annexure P-4) is already submitted by the petitioners to respondent No.2.

Mr. Jasjeet Singh Dhaliwal, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3.

Mr. Brijeshwar Singh Bhalla, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.4, 5 and 9 and has filed power of attorney which is taken on record. Counsel for respondent Nos.4, 5 and 9 submits that petitioner No.2 earlier performed marriage with one Simarjit Kaur on 17.11.2023 and he also produced Anand Karaj Certificate and copy of Priyanka Thakur 2024.09.06 15:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioners made statement that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition. 6.

In light of the above, the present petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn.
