(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.485 dated 15.08.2022, registered under Section 306 IPC, at Police Station Gannaur, District Sonipat. Vide order dated 17.10.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned counsel for the complainant submits that the deceased was the only son of the complainant and was married four months back; that the deceased was mentally harassed by his in-laws and AMAN JAIN 2022.12.14 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
221-A CRM-M-47790-2022 (O&M) -2that there are photographs, which indicate that the deceased was beaten by his in-laws, on the very day, when he committed suicide. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Satbir Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.
In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 17.10.2022 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
