Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, 'the BNSS'), for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.56 dated 02.03.2020, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, 'the IPC') registered at Police Station, City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that present petition be disposed off as not pressed, at this stage.
