(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside order dated 22.07.2025 (Annexure P-12) passed by the District Development and Panchayat Officer, Fazilka vide which respondent No.4 has been appointed as an Administrator of Gram Panchayat, Village Dhippanwali, District Fazilka, illegally and against the provisions of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedies under Section 201 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 however, he submits that time bound directions be issued for decision of the petition.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of. However, since the Administrator has been appointed for a period of 30 days, in case, the HIMANI GUPTA 2025.08.02 15:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

petitioner files a petition under Section 201 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 within a period of one week from today, the same shall be considered and decided by the Revisional Authority/competent Authority within a period of three weeks from the date of filing of such petition. 4.
