CWP No.25475 of 2021 (O&M) charge-sheet dated 29.10.2021. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondent - Corporation to promote the petitioner w.e.f. the date of the promotion order dated 05.12.2021 (Annexure P-3) and grant all consequential benefits arising therefrom viz. Salary, continuity of service, arrears of pay, seniority, etc. along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date it became due till the date of realization.

On the last date of hearing i.e. 12.11.2024, the following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the respondents has produced copy of order dated 27.10.2023, whereby the petitioner has been granted deemed date of promotion to the post of Senior Executive Engineer (Electrical) w.e.f. 06.12.2021 and submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks an adjournment to get instructions.
