(ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 227 dated 27.8.2019, registered under Sections 61 and 78 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914, Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur. Vide order dated 26.9.2019, the petitioner was granted interim bail.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated 26.9.2019 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Gurmail Ram, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated GURPREET SINGH 2020.01.09 11:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
