(Oral) The present petition under Section 482 CrPC has been preferred by the petitioner seeking quashing of the impugned order dated 10.04.2023, (Annexure P-1) passed by learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Garhshankar, whereby he had been declared as proclaimed offender in case FIR No.67 dated 12.04.2020 (Annexure P-2) under Section 188 IPC registered at Police Station Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur.

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty that the petitioner will surrender before the learned trial Court and will move regular bail application and in that event the trial Court may be directed to dispose of his bail application in an expeditious manner.

Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is ordered that in case the petitioner surrenders before the learned Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned and moves an application for regular bail, endeavour be made to SANDAL SHARMA 2023.09.26 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
