In the present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, prayer is made for issuance of a writ in the nature mandamus for issuance of directions to the respondents/authorities i.e. Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana Government, to take immediate necessary/corrective action and ensure that petitioner may be promoted to the post Sub Divisional Officer i.e. M.Ε./A.E./ Urban Local Bodies and candidature petitioner is duly considered for above said promotion in accordance with Haryana Municipal services (Integration, Recruitment and Condition Services) Rules 2010 (Annexure P62).

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions the petitioner, submits that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide his legal notice 17.06.2025 (Annexure P6 15), in a time bound manner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction respondent No. 2 to decide legal notice dated 17.06.2025 (Annexure P615) within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. 6.

Needless to say that the legal notice shall be decided in adherence with the principles of natural justice by giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by passing a detailed and reasoned speaking order. 7.

Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
