(Oral) Counsel for the State, on the basis of the affidavit of Principal Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Local Government, submits that in LPA No.174 of 2020, further proceedings in the contempt petitions are stayed and the said LPA is still pending. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive this petition, if so advised.
