RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 for ensuring free and fair investigation in case FIR No.174, dated 25.06.2020, registered under Sections 323, 498-A, 313, 34 IPC, at Police Station Division No.6, Jalandhar and to get the same investigated from some investigating agency other than Police Station Division No.6.
It has been submitted that since the registration of the FIR, the Investigating Agency is not making any progress in the investigation. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and at the outset he submits, on instructions from SI Jaivir Singh, that investigation in this case has already been completed, and challan under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C has also been presented before the Court of competent jurisdiction.
In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, MEENU 2022.11.30 14:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
