The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to consider her for appointment as a Trained Graduate TeacherMistress in English/Social Studies. 2.

Admittedly, the petitioner has not applied pursuant to any recruitment notice issued by the competent authorities from time to time. During the course of arguments, the learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled to relaxation of age in order to exclude the period spent by the authorities in revising the result of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2017. He relies upon a similar order passed by the Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Department of Education on 04.02.2020.

Civil Writ Petition No. 24133 of 2022 recruitment notice, the claim for excluding the period or in other words grant of relaxation is not found appropriate. As and when she applies for recruitment in pursuance of recruitment notice, then she can apply to the competent authority in this regard, i.e. for exclusion. 4.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner admits that the recruitment pursuant to a recruitment notices dated 28.02.2020, 20.08.2020 and 06.04.2021 has already been completed.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, no ground is made out to issue a writ. Hence, the present writ petition is dismissed. (Anil Kshetarpal) Judge January 25, 2023 "DK"
