Learned counsel for the State submits that the cancellation report was prepared but it has not been accepted by the Supervisory Officer, i.e Superintendent of Police. Now, the matter is pending before the District Attorney.

Let the concerned Superintendent of Police take a decision about the further investigation and to appoint some other officer for further investigation.

Given the stand of the State, nothing survives in this present petition and the same is disposed of. In case the petitioner wants to contact the concerned Superintendent of Police or the investigating officer, he may do so and the concerned officer shall hear him appropriately. Furthermore, it shall be liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court again in case of any dissatisfaction.
