CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for issuing direction to respondents to grant minimum regular pay scale to petitioners of their respective posts with effect from 1.11.2017 or from the date of their joining the service, whichever is later in terms of instructions Annexure P-5 and P-6 on the principle of equal pay for equal work and in view of judgments passed by this Court and Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent-Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana to consider the legal notice dated 06.07.2019 (Annexure P-12) within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct 2nd respondent-Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana to consider the legal notice dated 06.07.2019 (Annexure P-12) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon, failing which respondent No.2 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners.
